Hansen Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Roper Industries (ROP), announced the relocation of its manufacturing facility to Commerce, Georgia as of August 1, 2009.   By expanding its manufacturing space with another Roper subsidiary, Roper Pump, the move will result in increased efficiencies, synergies and purchasing power. 

Hansen’s management team, research and development, sales and customer service support center will remain in the Chicago suburbs at a new facility whose location will be announced at a later date.

“This is a strategic decision to better position us for our future growth plans,” said Hansen President, Jeffrey Nank.  “The move will allow Hansen access to the state-of-the-art quality control equipment, manufacturing expertise and lean techniques at the Commerce, Georgia manufacturing complex.  Hansen remains committed to the highest quality products and outstanding customer service that will not change, regardless of its location.  Our people will continue to create, produce and deliver the industry-leading valve technologies our customers have come to expect.”
